How did you get involved in cannabis?
I produced feminist events in NYC and NJ in the ’00s. My parents died of cancer when I was in my 20s and afterwards, I moved to Oregon with my wife, Cat. I came up with the idea for Tokeativity while making vision boards with friends on New Years 2015. Later that year when rec cannabis was legalized, I met Samantha who had a venue and had already been hosting cannabis events. A year after meeting, I pitched her on the idea and we partnered to bring the events series (now community!) to fruition.
