Panelists:

Sam Milam is a freelance writer, mother of two, and activist. She’s spent the past 7 years advocating for children and supporting and coaching parents on their journey to a more connected and emotionally healthy relationship with their kids. The way we communicate with our children has a huge impact on their self-worth, their identity, and their inner voice, so researching and implementing healthy communication tools is possibly one of the most important aspects of parenting

Tacarra Shaw is a 30 something mother of 3 born & raised here in Portland. This lady has thirst for peace, equality and a passion for the people. She was awarded a Thousand Cranes peacemaker award from the city of Portland. She also has been a mentor and foster parent here in Portland since 2005. Today Tacarra works as a comminity advocate and is leading her own path for city hall to change it’s diversity policy. She is also an advocate for diversity within the cannabis community. This canna mama is all about diversity and parenting

Amy Zimmerman is the host of Mothercraft; a creative outlet for family friendly crafts laced with a little THC. Amy has spent her professional life as a cook and event planner and has seamlessly introduced cannabis culture into her personalized event experiences. As the mother of a four year old, she is a strong advocate of normalization of cannabis use. Amy has consulted several fellow moms on discussing use with children and family members. Some mommies may need a glass of wine, this one needs a joint too. Check out full episodes of Mothercraft on YouTube, follow her @amymothercraft on Instagram got Mothercraft minutes, and subscribe to her blog and event info at amymothercraft.com!

ABOUT TOKEATIVITY CANNA MAMAS

It comes as no surprise that the stigma of cannabis is most prevalent when it comes to mothers and children. The lack of research combined with decades of misleading propaganda has put moms in the most difficult position of deciding if cannabis is safe for them and their families. Mothers are uncertain as to whether cannabis use is OK during pregnancy and breastfeeding and we often feel shame or hide our use. We say NO MORE SHAME! Let’s open up conversations to break down the stigmas!

Tokeativity Canna Mamas aims to open up deep conversation and connection between women interested in cannabis and parenthood. It is time to get together to connect, learn and create a community of Canna Mamas who can learn, discuss and support one another to set some standards for how cannabis can be used as a parent. All women are welcome who are interested in this conversation – you do not need to be a mother to attend! RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW!

No door sales will be available. All women must be 21+ and registered online prior to coming. Please make sure to register all members of your party online ahead of time. We support safe transportation and consumption of all substances.
