    pdx get-together in late Sept?

Been talking to a few folx and wondering if anyone's up for a mini-gathering? Im thinking super chill, small group, low key, no pressure, just to meet up and hang out, share some info about weed! I'm thinking like... Self-care Sunday? or a high happy hour monday? @River Katz has offered to come and do portraits if we do, since they couldn't make it to the Oz event. Would most likely take place somewhere laid back in NE/SE portland. What do you think?
  7. Hey lovelies! I have a friend from the east coast coming to visit between the 19th and 25th, but there's no Tokeativity event in that time and I'm desperate for her to experience a little bit of our special local community. Are there any cannabis consumption events going on that week/weekend we can check out?

As a result, Cannabis is now decriminalized in South Africa and the tip of Africa is well on its way to full legalization. A fund raising competition for their NGO, Fields of Green for ALL, has landed them on the west coast of the US of A. Fresh from speaking at Hempfest, Myrtle & Julian could not pass up the opportunity to come to Portland, seeing as they were just up the road from their virtual friends at Tokeativity!

    ORCA Lobby Day

    until
Date: Tues, March 12, 2019 Time: 9am - 5pm PDT Place: Capital Building, Salem, OR Cost: Free! ABOUT THIS EVENT Join ORCA and other women from Tokeativity in Salem to make your voice heard. Together we amplify! Oregon is the most competitive and innovative cannabis market in the world. The Oregon legislature is considering a number of bills that would move the industry forward. We need your stories, experiences, and testimony to help elected officials understand this quickly-evolving movement. We are advocating for export, automatic expungement, social consumption, worker protections, and more. It is critical that we help legislators understand who we are, what we care about, and the legislation we think it important and why. Day starts at 9am. We have the opportunity to meet with a number of key leaders in Salem on March 12 between 10am and 5pm. Complete this link if you would like to join us!
  19. until
Date: Sat, March 9, 2019 Time: 11am PDT Place: ONLINE at Toketivity.com/connect/meet (must be logged in to view) Cost: Free! ABOUT THIS EVENT Many women care deeply about the issues that impact them, but have struggled (for lots of reasons) to translate that passion into action. The concept of lobbying seems foreign and intimidating, and it can be hard to know where to start. Tokeativity has partnered with ORCA, a cannabis trade association, to support the advocacy of women in this space. Jesse Bontecou, Deputy Director and experienced campaigner, will offer training on basic concepts and messaging and answer questions and concerns. The goal is to help Tokeativity members feel confident and prepared to offer testimony, meet with legislators, or write statements of support for the bills and issues that matter most to them. Join us in Salem, OR on Lobby Day, MARCH 12. Learn more here: https://tokeativity.com/connect/calendar/event/232-orca-lobby-day/ or email miranda@oregoncannabisretailers.com. What to expect: Learn: How does a bill become a law? Connect: Your experience to why legislation matters Learn: The most effective message frames Hear: Examples of effective messages What's needed to participate? Desktop computer with access to the internet. Works best in the CHROME BROWSER. This will be recorded.

  21. Haven't been to any yet. Was only just made aware of your organization a few days ago at the Cannabis Collaborative Conference where I recently volunteered. I consider myself an enthusiast and hopefully evolving into an activist, supporter, possible part timer in the job market. I'm currently retired, volunteer here and there, working on expanding my CBD education as the pains and aches start asking for more attention. I also look forward to other hemp based products like hemp yarn fiber for knitting/crocheting.
  22. Yeay! Which Tokeativity events have you been to?
  23. New Member currently in SW Portland - kinda downtownish but on the very very very edge Looking forward to exploring and education.

This event is for women and allies interested in evolution who are seeking more balance and are looking for ways to break old patterns to bring about radical change in their lives and those around them. Inspired by the healing magic and organic balance that a 1:1 ratio (THC/CBD) brings, The Future is 1:1 was created to be an ally building workshop and communication bridge. Let's create our own entourage effect together, strengthen our Oregon cannabis community, and build the kind of culture we all want to live in and work in. We'll begin by discussing equality and what the balance of 1:1 means to us. We'll then listen to a few women-centered stories and break into groups for roleplaying either example stories or our own. Afterwards, we'll shift gears into our 1:1 social, where we can explore interactive stations, brands that support the mission of equality, write a letter to our future selves, play at the craft table with Mothercraft and connect on new perspectives we've added in our toolbox. FLOW OF EVENT: 7:00pm Welcome 7:45pm Workshop begins 8:30 Social (No latecomers after 7:45pm, please.) SPECIAL GUESTS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: 1:1 Knowledge Drop with Emma Chasen Get crafty with Mothercraft Enjoy Illumination Sessions with Holly Marie from Earthsong Healing Reiki Magic with Reiki Says Relax Aura Fluffings with Amaranta of Four Directions Creative Healing Say HELLO to East Fork Cultivars Say HOWDY to Siskiyou Sungrown Say HEYYYYY to Swell Provisions Say YOOOO to Bull Run Craft Cannabis and MORE! My vision board has been the center of my altar, where I meditate, pray, and read tarot. It really helped me focus my intentions throughout the year. I actually didn’t realize how many things I actually have accomplished or gotten into motion this year that I had put on my board last January." - Aphrena Rushton, Portland, OR "The Vision Board I created with Tokeativity served as both a mental and physical reminder to keep pushing for my ideals and goals throughout the year. It not only helped me to reassess and set goals in a meaningful and creative way, but allowed me to self-evaluate where I was with both personal and professional goals and helped create intentional conversation with other women whom (which I may have not done otherwise). After creating the board and hanging it in my room, I was able to refer to it throughout the year and draw both inspiration and motivation from it when needed. This is one of my favorite workshops that Tokeativity does all year!" - Leah Maurer, Co-Owner of The Weed Blog, Portland OR
