I am currently hiring for a Compliance/Inventory Manager at Eco Firma Farms. METRC and prior Inventory is mandatory.

All applicants must be the minimum age of 21. This position is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory records and tracking product moving in and out of the facility.

Compliance and Inventory Manager Job Description

 

Position Purpose

 

The purpose of the Compliance and Inventory Manager is to preserve Eco Firm Farm’s (EFF) integrity and business practices by ensuring it stays on a lawful and ethical course in all areas of METRC, OLLC mandates, State Law, and Inventory Management.

 

Responsibilities

   Oversee METRC to avoid or work through violations of OLCC guidelines and internal policies;

   Monitor and verify inventory levels and inventory movement using METRC and the evaluation of the efficiency of inventory controls and perpetually improve upon them (Lean & 5S practices);

   Blind cycle counts on a continuous basis;

   Liaise with the Farm Manager and the Sales Team to ensure all customer’s orders are properly pulled and filled with the exact goods that were requisitioned;

   Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues and to identify possible compliance liabilities;

   Starting with initial harvests, record the quantity and type of cannabis products that EFF holds in inventory accurately in METRC;

   Track the inventory flow to identify slow moving and dead stock;

   Ensure the integrity of the information in METRC to guard against pilferage, theft, fraud, and other activities that adversely affect EFF’s operations;

   Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide direction, advice, or training;

   Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control;

   Direct and manage OLCC, state and local governance, and regulatory compliance procedures related to inventory management operations;

Prepare reports for executive and external regulatory bodies as appropriate; and

   Any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

   Proven experience as a Compliance manager and experience working in an inventory position;

   Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, specifically, dexterity with Excel;

   In-depth knowledge of the cannabis industry’s standards and regulations;

   Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping;

   Business ingenuity partnered with a dedication to legality;

   Demonstrated knowledge of METRC;

   Methodical and diligent work with outstanding forecasting and planning abilities;

   Excellent communication skills and an analytical viewpoint;

   Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations;

   OLCC Cannabis Workers Permit.

 

Preferences

 

   University degree;

   Certified compliance professional; and

   Proven track record of integrity, honesty, reliability, self-starting, detail oriented, and a “can do” attitude.
