Job Description

CEO

Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of the business running effectively. Manages all Shift Leads, Budtenders, and Delivery Staff. Collaborates with Purchasing Manager to ensure the best stock is always on our shelves. Performs all record keeping of cash in/out per company procedures.
 
Compensation: $38K - $48K + benefits
 Employment type: full-time
   
 Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Oversee all shop operations and maintain to Owners’ satisfaction.
● Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
● Implement store’s Standard Operating Procedures, and create new SOPs as needed.
● Manage hiring, employee conduct, and discipline, with assistance from HR and/or
Owners when needed.
● Scheduling: Ensure store is appropriately staffed, while controlling labor costs.
● Monitor and track hours for payroll purposes.
● Cash Management
● Collaborate with Owners to manage MX delivery service & delivery vehicle maintenance.
● Develop store strategies to raise customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize
profitability.
● Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff.
● Report sales and margins to Owners routinely.
● Coordinates with Staff and Purchasing Manager on weekly inventory management.
● Maintain shop supplies and restock as necessary.
● Maintain all essential shop equipment and technology.
● Manage shop’s OLCC & OSHA compliance.
● Manage inspections.
● Incident management.
● Maintain outstanding interior/exterior store condition, cleanliness, and visual
merchandising standards.
● Ensure all inventory is properly stored and cared for.
● Additional projects as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements
● High School Diploma or GED required. 4 Year degree in Business Administration, Retail, or Marketing; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, preferably managing a team of 10 or more in a retail environment. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Marijuana Handler’s Permit.

● Ability to lead and manage employees to achieve sales goals.
● Knowledge of cannabis strains and products.
● Ability to be an ambassador of the Moss Crossing brand, as well as effectively
communicate to staff what that means.
● Ability to analyze and solve problems.

● Knowledge of key retail KPIs and the ability to track and manage them.

● Familiarity with POS systems (preferably Greenbits)
● Cloud-based storage

Conditions of Employment
● This position is exempt.
● This position reports to the CEO.
Moss Crossing is an at-will employer.
● Willingness to attend continuing education as provided by employer.
● Attainment of Marijuana Handler’s Permit is required for this position.
● Expected work week to be minimum 40 hrs and include scheduled weekends, and most
holidays. Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and for yearly staff retreat.
● Must have a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
● May occasionally require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
● May occasionally require driving for deliveries, and running of errands.
● Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/retail work environment.
● Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers,
filing cabinets, and fax.
