April Pride: Why is it time for The Pot Talk? Well, when cannabis was declared an essential service during the lockdowns for COVID-19 in March, the national conversation around the plant shifted from stigma to solving real problems related to stress, sleep, and mental health. What comes next after cannabis has been deemed essential medicine for millions of Americans? While many women have found relief with weed, questions related to its consumption and other behaviors around the plant are more top of mind than ever. Enter The Pot Talk, a five-part audio series to address new ways to talk about this ancient plant with the most important people in our lives.

April Pride: In the first episode, we'll share the reasons why and how women are asking their closest friends to just try the pot already. We'll follow up in the next episode with the whys and hows of adult children suggesting weed to their aging parents. Episode three drops just after the New Year, so appropriately for high and dry January. We're asking the question, how much weed is too much? And how do you broach this topic with someone you think should reconsider their consumption choices, maybe even yourself? This episode is followed up by The Pot Talk With Your Teenager, and we'll end the series with an episode dedicated to those in a relationship with a sober partner who is off the weed for work or to work the steps.

April Pride: These are the questions we get from you, our listeners. So we've reached out to women with stories to share and experts armed with the latest research to provide practical and tactical advice to safely and responsibly incorporate this plant into our modern lives.
