    ABOUT THIS MEETING:

    Bay Area Toking Hour
with special guest Raeven Duckett, Founder of Community Gardens and Mae
Raeven Duckett is a cannabis equity activist and business leader within the industry. Duckett co-founded Community Gardens, a cannabis delivery and distribution company based in Oakland, California. Community Gardens was the first equity team to receive a license from the State of California for adult use sales of cannabis, based on their participation in the revolutionary city of Oakland Cannabis Equity program. Duckett believes in the medicinal benefits of the cannabis plant and works within the community to educate on and normalize cannabis. In the fall of 2019 Community Gardens was accepted into Momentum, a cannabis business accelerator powered by Eaze, UltraNative, and Bail Capital. During this program Duckett developed and launched the cannabis delivery reservation software, MAE. MAE is an artificial  intelligence chat bot that guides customers through the cannabis purchase process all via sms (text) messaging.

The Tokeativity Bay Area Toking Hour is a place for our community to come together
to discuss current events and needs of our community in the Bay.
Agendas, as they are created, will be posted along the way.

Toking Hours are hosted by our Tokeativity leaders in various cities in our network.
These consumption friendly online meetings are an hour long opportunity
for leaders to nurture relationships in their community
and those who want to support or make connections in a particular region.

Experiences may include discussions on local, national or international topics,
guest speakers, or just hanging out and connecting together.

A portion of all proceeds will be going to National Bail Out, a Black-led and Black-centered collective of
abolitionist organizers, lawyers and activists building a community-based movement
to "support our folks" and end systems of pretrial detention and ultimately mass incarceration.
