We are looking for a person who specializes in technical customer service and communications to join our female-lead team at our woman-owned company, Tokeativity.
 

This is a position for someone who specializes is extremely skilled in swift communications across multiple platforms, is great at problem solving, loves helping people, and wants to be part of a global cannabis and feminist movement.


We are looking for someone who can help provide customer service to our growing member base and interest list.

 

ABOUT US:

Tokeativity is the Global Cannabis Community for Women

We host experiential community events that focus on female empowerment, cannabis normalization and consumption culture through creative, social, political, and feminist forward activities in local chapters across the globe.

Our community events are created for the feminine experience, but are open to all who are interested in learning and embracing the cannabis and feminist movements.

Our non profit social club works to empower women at the root level by creating social, interactive and creative environments, with a focus on plant based medicine, for women to explore personal and professional growth in a space away from the male gaze.

We are based in Portland, Oregon and would prefer someone local who can join us in person at our office in SE.

NEEDS:

- Work with HQ to help provide tech support and customer service to members in our chat and email box.

- Quickly learn and understand what problems need solving, who needs to be connected to who, triage inbound communications to different departments, answer questions for members trying to register (sometimes last minute before an event starts).  

- keep track of any open customer service loops and help ensure the loops have closure.

- be on call day of events - scheduled in advance - fully present and available to quickly reply to an inquiry in chat box, slack or email and be there for our members, leaders and collaborators. 

- clear, swift communication as a skill set is an absolute must  

 

YOU: 

We are looking for one who is ready to jump right in. Ideally, you are Portland based and can meet with us weekly, sometimes at our HQ office in SE  

Have a direct experience in chat boxes, slack and email

Passionate about the cannabis and feminist movement 

People person - you like talking with people and helping them feel better than when they arrived 

You find tech support fun! 

You pay attention to detail

You know how many balls you can keep in the air and when to ask for help

Comfortable with technology, open to learning new things

Able to pivot quickly in a fast paced cannabis climate

 

SUPER PLUS if you have experience in:
Coming to Tokeativity and understand the landscape of our culture.

EXCHANGE:

$15/hr

or $20/hr in Site Credit 

We also have other opportunities for trade such as free access to events, online classes, business membership, sponsorship, marketing or a custom exchange that's right for you.

This is a contractor 1099 job, with room in the company to grow. We read all entries and welcome your letters to us.
